All About Everyday Energy

Nobody thinks about electricity until it stops.

That’s the problem we had to solve for Middle Tennessee Electric. You can’t make people care about poles, wires, or reliability stats, so we didn’t try. We made a film about what electricity actually does, which is let people live their lives.

This spot is just about real life. Morning routines. Somebody making breakfast. An appliance plugged in, doing its job. We shot with natural light and let scenes run longer than a commercial usually does. The goal was for people to see their own house on screen.

“Bringing Good Energy” closes it out. MTE keeps the lights on. It also keeps the coffee hot, the kitchen loud, and the house feeling like a home.

Electricity is invisible. You only experience what it makes possible. So MTE isn’t the hero of the film. It’s the thing humming in the background that makes the rest of it work, which is a better place for a utility to sit anyway.

We’re proud to have partnered with MTE to tell that story—not by spotlighting the infrastructure behind the service, but by celebrating the people whose lives are made possible because it’s always there.
