Off-the-shelf CMS (Content Management Systems) are woefully insufficient for the needs of any Healthcare system at scale. A tailored solution was needed, designed around the specific hospital website needs, that allowed for speed, security, and ease-of-use. The solution required integrations with various existing data sources, and needed to support future growth/integrations for new technologies in order to serve patients well.
Approach
FoxFuel built a custom CMS platform that provides platform-wide design updates and functionality upgrades, while also allowing for individual website customization and management for each local market. Features added to the platform are immediately available to all sites, streamlining updates to a large volume of websites. Once the platform was launched, FoxFuel migrated all of the existing hospital websites, organizing each site to the standards of the new platform.
